Meet Kim Lavery: Kim has been the General Manager at Broadacres since 2014. Kim started her career in care at the age of 16 where she soon realised her passion for care and making a positive difference to people’s lives – 20 years later and she still has that passion to make our Residents smile and help them live their lives to the full

Susan, Care Manager

Meet Susan: Susan is our Care Manager, who has been with the Broadacres team for 14 years. Susan has over 25 years’ experience, and shares her knowledge and experience working within the care team – “Broadacres is like a home from home for me, I enjoy it everyday”

Julie, Senior Night Carer

Meet Julie: Julie is one of our senior carers at night, she has been with Broadacres for 15 years. Julie is also our infection control lead, she audits and monitors the staff and environment to ensure we are all working to a high standard at all times – “It’s such a lovely place to work, I’m proud to be part of Broadacres”

Michelle, Senior Carer and Medical Lead

Meet Michelle: Michelle is one of our senior carers and medication lead. Michelle is responsible for ordering and auditing medication as well as training staff in using our Emar medication administration system: “I have learnt so much working at Broadacres, they have helped me grow as a person and develop my career”

Fiona, Head Chef

Meet Fiona: Fiona is our Head Chef running a 5* rated kitchen, her love of food and the importance of a nutritionally balanced diet shines through in our varied exciting menus. Fiona is also our diabetic lead sharing her experience and knowledge with the team: “The best part of my job is seeing the Residents enjoy all aspects of our dining experience”
