Dining

A varied, tasty and nutritious menu is prepared daily by our own chef using fresh local produce whenever possible.  Meals can be served in the Resident’s own room at a time of their choice or served in the spacious dining room overlooking the garden and lake. Special dietary requirements are catered for as required, including diabetic, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets. During the summer months there is also a salad bar. A healthy balanced diet is paramount here at Broadacres, so we offer a varied menu that has something for everyone and meets Residents’ personal preferences.

Coq Au Vin

Tender chicken cooked in Red wine, shallot, and mushroom sauce

Fisherman’s Pie

 Prawns, cod and salmon cooked in a creamy parsley sauce topped with fluffy, creamed potato; baked until golden

A classic British dessert of dark, dense sponge cake made with chopped dates, topped with a sweet toffee sauce

A light and fluffy zesty rolled meringue served with cream or ice cream
